TC CAT: Documentary Series – June

This June, the Tri-Cities Community Action Team (TC CAT) invites you to a series of powerful documentary screenings and presentations, offering a space for community connection, education, and reflection on vital issues. Join us for these thought-provoking events, held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

  • June 17th: SMOKEY D – DOCUMENTARY
    • Synopsis: This documentary delves into the life and work of Smokey Devil, an artist whose murals powerfully depict the toxic drug crisis, the ongoing tragedy of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), and other critical social issues. It’s a moving exploration of art as activism and the power of storytelling to raise awareness and inspire change.

  • June 24th: LANGLEY COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM: THEIR ROLE
    • Synopsis: This presentation will provide an overview of the important work of the Langley Community Action Team. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from the experiences of other action teams and explore collaborative approaches.
